Dust off your boots and Akubras. Put your stilettos away and your Stetson on. Don your garden frock or moleskins, the 2023 Long Lunch in the Vines is on Saturday 21 October and Sunday 22 October. We invite you to gather your friends and join us on the farm.

We are swinging our gates open for a relaxed day in the vines with Chef Paula Rengger’s amazing food, our estate grown wines (or an ale), live music and great company, alfresco. It’s the highlight event of our annual calendar and we invite you to join us.

+ WHERE – Boydell’s Farm, East Gresford
+ TICKETS – $150pp (early bird $140pp)

+ INCLUSIONS – a fabulous, relaxed, alfresco day, three course lunch, canape and a glass of Sparkling on arrival, live music, and a keepsake Boydell’s glass
+ THE LUNCH BAR – will be open throughout the day to purchase your wine, beer & soft drink needs
+ TRANSPORT – there will be free onsite parking. Coach transfers are available from Maitland and Newcastle bookings are essential

+ Boydell’s wines, beers & soft drinks will be available for purchase from the bar on the day. 
+ We are a working farm so please leave your pets at home
+ We’ll be under a marquee, outdoors, flat/suitable shoes are recommended
+ There is no accommodation onsite but plenty nearby in Dungog and the Maitland area
+ If you are purchasing tickets as part of a group, we recommend purchasing the tickets all together, otherwise we cannot guarantee you will be seated together. 
+ Our Chef asks you to please advise us of your dietary requirements when purchasing your tickets
+ The event is under a marquee. In the event of inclement weather we will notify you of any changes.

Second Course:

+ Hilltops shiraz braised beef cheek, pumpkin puree, lardons, crisp brussels
Roasted cocktail chats with pistachio praline & rosemary salt

Third Course:

+ Comte cheese, green apple terrine, pickled watermelon, radish, lavosh



  • Can I bring my pet?
    The event is held on a working farm so please leave your pets at home
  • Are beverages included in the ticket?
    Sparkling Verdelho is served with canape on arrival. Water is served throughout the day. The Lunch Bar will be open for Boydell’s wines, beers and soft drink sales throughout the remainder of the event, cash & EFTPOS available
  • Is parking available?
    There is plenty of parking available onsite
  • What alternatives are there to driving on the day?
    Transfer to & from Maitland and Newcastle are available. Bookings must be made in advance via the ticketing site. 
  • Can I bring drinks & food for the coach transfers?
    No, please don’t bring food or drinks on the coaches. We’ll have a glass of Sparkling ready to greet you at the farm on arrival.
  • Do taxis & Uber service the area?
    No they do not service this area, please arrange alternate options
  • Can I request to be seated with friends?
    If you are purchasing tickets as part of a group, we recommend purchasing the tickets all together, otherwise we cannot guarantee you will be seated together. 
  • I have dietary requirements, can you cater to this?
    Please advise all dietary requirements at the time of booking. Our Chef will not have access to a kitchen to prep for needs that are not pre-advised.
  • Where is the nearest accommodation?
    There is plenty nearby in Dungog and the Maitland area
  • What happens in the event of inclement weather?
    The event is under a marquee. In the event of inclement weather please dress appropriately. We will contact you if  the conditions are dangerous
  • Can I cancel my tickets?
    Tickets are fully refundable up until 14 days prior to the event and non-refundable after this.
  • Can I bring my own drinks?
    This is not a BYO event our Lunch Bar offers our range of wines, beers and soft drinks.
