Boydell’s farm and vineyard are off the wine trail, along the Allyn river, at the foothills of the Barrington Tops. This little piece of heaven, down the silverleaf poplar lined drive, is the place we are lucky enough to call home.

Introducing our 2025 Reserve Hunter Valley Shiraz.
First settled by Charles Boydell in 1826, our Hunter Valley farm reaches its bicentenary in 2026. To mark 200 years, we’ve created something particularly special.
Our 2025 Reserve Shiraz is made with fruit from the renowned Black Cluster Vineyard, grown by David and Amy McWilliam. Those who know this vineyard will know just how special that is.

Wow, we’ve been blown away by the response to our winter menu. Thank you to everyone who has come in to try it – we’re so grateful for your support.
It’s hard to pick a favourite, but the petit trout soup and pea risotto are definitely contenders. Both are full of beautiful winter flavours that are comforting without being heavy, and pair perfectly with a glass of Boydell’s wine.
