Wow, what a ride! It’s been an incredible journey for our Boydell’s Reserve Range, and we’re beyond thrilled to share some exciting news with you. Our wines continue to shine with more gold medals and top scores rolling in!
Our 2023 Reserve Shiraz Viognier has just been awarded 95 points, GOLD by Halliday Wine Companion, following in the footsteps of our 2022 Reserve Shiraz Viognier, which also scored 95 points, GOLD. That’s back-to-back golds for this stunning wine—something we’re immensely proud of.
Not to be outdone, our 2023 Reserve Hunter Valley Chardonnay is also turning heads, scoring 95 points, GOLD with Halliday. This beauty already took out a trophy at last year’s NSW Small Winemakers Show and multiple golds across other wine shows. And our 2021 Reserve Shiraz Pinot Noir has also impressed, earning 91 points, SILVER in Halliday.
Crafted by Halliday’s Winemaker of the Year, Liz Silkman, the Boydell’s Reserve Range is all about showcasing premium fruit from some of NSW’s best wine regions, made with absolute precision and care. While not all wines in this range have hit the show circuit yet, rest assured—they’ve been made to the same exacting standard.

We Love the Rizza – Riesling Tasting Event

For all the Riesling lovers out there, we’ve put together a special tasting experience! We’ll be pouring three Boydell’s Rieslings from three vintages and two regions, paired with three incredible bites from Chef Michael. We’ve convinced Dan to release two back vintages from the Cellar, so we can take a look at how they are developing (and to give you the chance to buy a few bottles to take home). It’s going to be a fantastic afternoon of wine, food, and of course great company. To kick off your weekend in style, we’d highly recommend booking to stay for a relaxing dinner.
